Hello, I'm Francis O'Neill
This page is really to let you know more about the
person offering you this training.
I work out of Evesham in Worcestershire -
where I have lived for the last twelve years.
I am a qualified teacher with
eighteen years experience in teaching and
training in IT/ICT (Information &
Communications Technology) within adult
learning - using both well known and some
I'm an advocate of 'lifelong-learning' and
particularly helping people gain confidence
in using computers and online facilities.
I've taught from beginners to the more
Prior to Progress with IT, I was an IT Lecturer at Gloscat (now
Gloucestershire College), and later the
ICT Trainer for Stratford District Council...where I also ran a UK Online Centre. Currently I'm doing some teaching over at Bidford Community Library - you can find out more about courses there on the Home page.
I've taught across a wide range of
IT topics mostly to groups heading towards IT
For example the ECDL (European
Computer Driving Licence), CLAIT
(Computer Literacy & Information
Technology), NOCNs (National Open College
Network), and a range of City &

non-accredited training in my time, I have
also taken a number of qualifications for
